Instead of watering a little every day, give your plants a thorough soaking two or three times each week during dry weather. Deep watering encourages stronger root systems, making plants healthier and much more resilient throughout the summer heat.
Early morning remains the best time to water, allowing moisture to soak into the soil before the hottest part of the day.
